Is it the will of God to heal you?

This week I want to talk about what the Word of God says about you. Doctors may have told you that your ailment is incurable. Pastors may have informed you that your sickness is to strengthen your faith and test your love for God. Have you too taken the time to find out what the great physician has to say about your health? Have you paid any attention to His lab report about you health status? The word of God is the greatest report ever written about you. As you read forget what any doctor has said about you and believe only on what Christ has said about you in His word.

The will of God
The will of God is the most important thing. Until you can determine the will of God concerning any issue, you cannot tackle it. To address and deal with diseases and sickness, we first need to know the will of God about Health and healing. You may ask:  is healing and living in divine health the will of God for me? Is every one entitled to receive healing from above? I believe the answer to each question above is yes! I say so because the Bible says so. The Bible is the will of Jesus for us. The will of someone cannot be changed once the dead person signed in the presence of a lawyer as a witness. This legal document cannot be changed. Christ sealed His will for us with His own blood. Nothing can change any promise of God for you. What is written is written. Continue reading as we discover the will of God for us in relation to divine healing.

The word of God is the will of God.
Whatever the word says is a revelation of the will and desires of God. You can know the will of God concerning healing and health as you read the word of God. The best way to know the mind of someone is to analyse the words and actions of that person. The word contains the acts and the ways of God. Most of us determine the will of God by considering what makes sense. Such people make decisions by logic, looks and feelings only. I believe aside these considerations you should also factor in what the Bible has to say. The Bible should have a primary say in the issues of our life. If I may ask: does it make sense to go to war without weapons but musical instruments? Certainly not! But that was the will of God concerning Israel in their battle with Jericho. Also, does it look possible for an untrained warrior to fight and defeat a giant army commander with stones only? This too will call for laughter if it happened in this twenty first century. What the word of God says is not always pleasant to our bodily senses but obedience to the Word is the source of our greatness. Let us go through the word and find out what God has already said about health and healing.

The first man
Healing is for all: the young and the old. Why do I say so? I say this because God includes healing in His covenant with the first Man, Adam. It is said that like begets like. How God originally created Adam is how God creates us in Christ. How was Adam created? First of All, Adam was declared very well after he was created. God can not call a sickly person very good. Adam had no disease in him. Adam did not know how headache or pain felt. Adam had no idea how death will feel. Adam was not given any medicine. The presence of God alone was able to keep him in divine health always. He began to sense death only after he disobeyed God and broke fellowship with Him. He was told that he would die on the day in which he eats from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Because Adam fell, death entered the world. But for death to have its way sickness and disease should proceed. Thank God we are not like Adam after he fell. We have been restored to the position of Adam before his fall. Adam was a living soul but we are living spirits. Adam did not have the Holy Spirit permanently dwelling in him but we do. Adam died but we believers only fall asleep. We have eternal life in Jesus Christ. Your right to eternal life prohibits you to feel sick. You are the second Adam. Where Adam fell short, God has uplifted you. Now God has declared you very good too. You are His workmanship created unto good works. Just as he created Adam and declared him very good so has he declared anything about you very good. Hallelujah! This is the manufacturers report about you! Look at yourself in a mirror and say boldly that ‘God created me in His image so I am very good. I am the workmanship of God unto good works. My health and my condition cannot be bad. God has declared me healed and whole. I believe God and I thank Him.’
